Daniel Månsson is a commercial lifestyle photographer known for his strength in utilizing light to define objects and tell stories. A Swedish photographer based out of Southern California, Daniel’s major work is found in advertising, commissions in print media and photography books. A few of Daniel’s commercial lifestyle clients include Volvo, Barbour, Warner Music, Scania Trucks, Mazda and Sony Ericsson. His work has been published globally in print media outlets such as Intelligent Life, New York Times Style Magazine and ICON. Daniel’s photography books, Faces of Skateboarding, Super, Cold Water Surfing and The Cats Meow, have been awarded with working grants from the Swedish Authors Association in 2006, 2008 and 2013. In 2010 he won a scholarship in nature photography from the Hasselblad Foundation.
